About Yoga

Integration

Having sudden revelations requires slow and sudden integration of these new values into your daily life. We are sympathetic to your situation. Our multi-modal approach to integration contains a wide range of practices that you can incorporate into your new routine. Support your new perspective with personalized modalities to dance with you through the paradigm shift.

Integrate

Music

We play, practice, and teach music and we love it. From kirtan, classic covers, medicine music, or prayerful bhajan song, we embrace a wide range of approaches. We aspire to have weekly kirtan sessions starting in 2025, so please let us know if you’d like to be notified of any upcoming group practices. Percussion, vocal harmonization, or simple musical appreciation, you can learn. We can also teach piano, guitar, ukulele, harmonium, sitar, and the art of harmonizing and jamming.

Events

Our gatherings range from relaxing to off-the-wall but is always a great mix of people connecting.  We love to collaborate with artisans, musicians, and presenters for our speaker series. We aim to have an arsenal of peace-producing workshops, health-giving presentations, and great networking with like-hearted individuals at our rejuvenating parties!

Our Events

As Yogis, we live in conscious awareness that the Divine permeates every soul, and we believe Seva (“service” in Sanskrit”) is a sacred path. Through this lens of Krishna/Christ Consciousness, we offer a network of compassionate service providers who are devoted to upholding the highest values of love and wisdom. All services are provided by independent contractors who share a heart-centered commitment to Seva. Kriya house handles coordination, outreach, and payment systems, ensuring that each act of service contributes to our broader mission: bringing peace and harmony to the world, starting in the heart residing in the Self.

Caring Heart Service

Our offerings include elder care, household help, organizing, grocery and nutritious meal support, garden and pet care assistance, holistic lifestyle coaching specializing in creating habits for those at the beginning stages of changing cognitive abilities, and death doula support. Death doula support may be framed initially as organizational and psychological/emotional support in downsizing, or as a nutritional habit transformation assistant, alongside a long-term spiritual friend who over the years can develop a relationship to the individual and their family members. Our network reaches beyond services specializing in the golden years. We also offer technological assistance and training, automation of marketing using A.I. enhancement for small business, Pain management specialists for those suffering from chronic pain, Montessori-informed organizational assistance for young families, and decluttering services for growing families, and permaculture backyard planning and connections for local trade!

Meditation

At Kriya House, the founders practice Kriya Yoga. We only offer basic guided meditations, preliminary any formal Kriya initiation you could receive. We offer self-enquiry and mindfulness practices to support the development of your daily practice, encouraging and inspiring you towards spiritual growth, through increasing your experience of peace, wisdom, and love.

For complete instructions on Kriya Yoga, we guide you to the Masters: Paramahamsa Yogananda’s preliminary lessons, sent through Self-Realization Fellowship, set you up for success if you are new to meditation and already open to bhakti.  We also point to the Temple of Peace for initiations into Kriya Yoga, especially if you already have a consistent meditation practice and good contextual knowledge of the Yoga paradigm. Both organizations descend from Sri Yukteswar Giri, Lahiri Mahasaya, and Mahavatar Babaji, and both have temples right here in Lakewood, Colorado and offer Kriya Initiations.

Depending on your constitution, you may be better suited for breath awareness, energy exercises, or logic oriented self-enquiry practices. Our mission is to facilitate more frequent and deeper experiences of peace, calm, joy, love, wisdom, intelligence, and wisdom.

Soma

Mother earth has provided us with many mystical fruits that ancient mystics wrote about. These tools for healing and liberation are available to masses whilst in the olden days you had to be in the Eleusinian mystery schools to drink the Kykeon, or a Brahman following Rigvedic rituals to drink the soma. The Indigenous Americans used these sacred medicines to connect to the Great Spirit, too.  The recent mainstream acceptance of psychedelic entheogens requires careful vetting, wise counsel, compassionate facilitation, and good integration.  Now that it grows so freely all around us, we are so grateful and honored. We use it respectfully, courageously, curiously, and reverently for the purpose of realizing, understanding, and knowing the Truth, even if just a fractional amount, that that All-Is-One.
